My small queen room had a hair dryer, tea and coffee, and a kettle.

Excellent value place with well organised employees from receptionist to waitress. Handy location very close to the Lake District.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and abundant, and the location was fantastic, close to a dog-friendly pub.

So glad we choose it, it's nice place for staying in Cockermouth.

In addition, parking was on-site.

The hotel is in an incredible and stunning location, just a minute's walk from Cockermouth Castle. It is conveniently close to pubs and a restaurant. The recently renovated rooms are pet-friendly and have awesome beds, a large bathroom, and coffee 

It was reasonably priced. The small double room I booked was newly remodelled. The atmosphere created was friendly. Location: the hotel was so close to Cockermouth, the centre and Allerdale Court. The breakfast was local, 

The breakfast is highly recommended. The staff is always attentive and helpful. The location is central with free parking. .

One has to know that due to its age and construction the hotel does not have an elevator.

Convenient location! This place is right in the middle, close to the Blocks restaurant and a leisure center. What's more, you can easily visit Wordsworth House and Garden nearby. 🏞️

Excellent staff very caring and helpful they went out of their way to help at all times.

Drinks at the hotel were very expensive compared to other places in the town which meant that we drank elseware.

I thought the staff were friendly and upbeat, and they've obviously put in a lot of work to reopen after the floods. Breakfast was excellent.

I think a little bit of money could be spent on sprucing up the facilities in the rooms, which are a bit worn.

The place has recently been redecorated and the rooms are spacious, including the large bathrooms.

The breakfast was hot and plentiful with the fried eggs and a complimentary takeaway snack pack also included, for example, had everything you could want. The staff were extremely friendly and best and the location was 

All in all, it's gorgeous place that has brilliantly helpful staff from receptionist to waitress. The location of the venue is magnificent and unbeatable, just off the Castle arms great pub, and town center. You
